Étienne Ratthé

An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, composer, conceptor, director, cellist and percussionist, Étienne Ratthé is an eclectic artist who leads a very active career as a creator and musician, which has led him to perform on multiple stages in Quebec, in Canada and abroad.
For more than twenty years, Étienne prominently accompanied, recorded and toured with several artists, notably Émile Proulx-Cloutier, Luc De Larochellière, Andrea Lindsay, Laurence Jalbert, Marie-Denise Pelletier and Marie-Mai.

Founding member and co-creator for Quebec Issime original productions, he works as musical director, composer, conductor, musician and co-visual designer for their various productions, among others « Décembre, » presented at Place-des-Arts’ Maisonneuve Theater in Montreal since 2003.
Étienne Ratthé recently coproduced the CD album Lizotte Plays/Joue Lizotte with harpist-composer Caroline Lizotte, under their own record label: RougébLeuë Productions.
